And now, a few words from me:

Hi there, I’m Bobby.  All this snow is very new to me, I’m not sure that I like it!  I came from a very sad place and was in a commercial breeding facility for a long time.  Finding freedom in a home without barriers is a huge learning experience for me.  I’m observing the people around me to make sure I can trust them, but they do seem kind of nice!  I really like quiet spaces and just love the company of the other dogs, I follow them around everywhere.  I am looking for a patient and gentle family who will love me for me.  Are you that family?

And now, a few words from my foster mom:

Bobby is the cutest little guy.  Coming from a commercial breeding facility, he is not used to humans so he is shy and nervous in his interactions.  He is very observant and watchful of the people in the home and we are working away at showing him that humans can be trusted.  He is a very quiet and tame dog without an ounce of aggression.  He absolutely loves the company of the other dogs in the home, follows them around, and quickly integrated the pack.  We have seen him begin to engage in playful behaviours with the other dogs.  Bobby has had extensive dental completed so a soft food, or soaked kibble diet is necessary.  He enjoys going to the backyard but will need some support improving walking on a leash as he is still quite nervous.  Bobby would do best in a calm and quiet environment.  He would need at least one other dog in the home to help him out and show him the ropes of living with a family.  Bobby’s perfect family will be one who has experience with rescues and who is willing to let him take his time learning to trust his environment and to become the dog that he was always meant to be.
